Before beginning your project (or allowing anyone else to start), be sure you have all the materials needed to kick off the renovation. Whether it is electrical supplies, cabinets, flooring, paint, counters, appliances, paint, etc. Be sure you have all the necessary materials prior to the remodeling project.

Kitchen walkways should be at least 3′ in width and 3’6″ wide within a cooking area. If however, the kitchen will accommodate 2 cooks, then 4′ wide aisles are needed. This is a good tip to keep in mind when you are planning or designing a new kitchen or remodeling and old one.
